October has come to a close with lots of things going on.

We finish the month out with the end of soccer, pumpkin carving, Halloween and then the start of elk hunting in Colorado.

Kaila played her last game on the 26th, first against her other team mates and then against the parents. After the game we had a little pizza party. It was a great time.

We were all busy getting Charlie and Nick ready to leave for Colorado to elk hunt. They left on the 30th of October. After they left, the kids and I decided to carve pumpkins.

Next we have the wonderful day of Halloween, which turned out to be slightly chilly and rainy. That made it difficult to get decent photos. This is also the first year that I didn't take the kids trick or treating myself. They both decided they wanted to go with friends. I feel a sense of loss, but is what it is. At least they're still dressing up at the ripe old ages of 10 and 11 1/2.

Blake was a hobo and Kaila was a spider fairy.

At about 7:30 (Colorado time) on November 2, 2013 Nick shot his first bull elk. We are so very happy. They're actually coming home early due to Nick's altitude sickness, as well as some bad weather heading in.

I participated and continue to participate in a Pinsperational Crop at My Scraps & More. I have done three challenges so far.
I used a sketch from Scrap Around the World for this one.

I used a sketch by Audrey Yeager for this one.

I used a sketch from La Malle a Scrap for this one.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a great day!
