EXTREMELY picture heavy....

I apologize for my long absence. It's been crazier than ever this year. I honestly can't wait to begin 2012!

I'm going to start out with a some layouts I've done recently. If you'd like to see a larger view, just click on the image.

I used a sketch from Skissadila for this one. This is Kaila and me at her 2nd birthday party which was held three months before her actual birthday.

I used a sketch from Sketch Support for this one. This is Nick on the last day of 3rd Grade :)

I used a sketch from Sketch Support for this one. This is Nick and Nathan working hard.

I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers for this one. This is Blake on his first day of Kindergarten.

I used a sketch from Skissadila for this one. This is Blake pulling a snowboard in June.

I did this layout for layout tag at The Scrapping Spot. This is Charlie last year on his trip to Colorado to elk hunt.

Speaking of hunting, this is what my son, Nick (13 years old) shot on the first day of buck season. He shot this 10 point at about 60 yards with open sights. This photo was taken with a cell phone.

While Nick was playing around in the woods, Blake, Matthew, Kaila and I went to checkout Kraynak's. We met other friends and family there. The kids played with the trains, but became bored quickly with them and wanted to move onto browsing/playing with the toys. After that, we went to Arby's to fill our bellies. We are always starving by 10:00 - LOL!

My parents came the Friday after Thanksgiving to spend five days with us. The kids were so happy to have them here. I did get some photos of my dad teaching Nick how to wrestle. Wow...was that ever funny. Nick's not as strong as he thinks he is. He was begging for mercy. The kid is 13, about 5' 6" and weighs 158 pounds. He's a beast. I can't wrestle him anymore, because he just about broke my ribs last time. It was a workout let me tell you.

We had our Lahr Family Christmas party on Sunday the 11th. These kids are getting entirely too big.  There's always delicious food, which is hard to resist. We had marinated/smoked chicken, ribs with homemade BBQ sauce, potatoes, rolls, pie, cookies, oreo balls...just to name a few things. YUM!

After we ate it was time for PICTURES!!! I took several and when I say SEVERAL...I mean hundreds :)  You never know when you're going to get a good one. Here are a some of my faves.
