And so ends the great Sketchabilities' Birthday Celebration! Thanks to everyone who participated!

The Sketchabilities reveal is up! This week's sketch was created by Amy Oxford. I switched my photos, because darling Blake was looking the other way. The flower in my layout has skulls on it.

The Design Team has some really great takes on this sketch, so don't forget to click on the link to drool over those :)

October over at Sketchabilities also holds some fantastic sketches, which you will be absolutely thrilled with. I'm thinking there will be many Halloween or Fall layouts - wink! wink!
Thanks for stopping by!

Nuts About Sketches sketch is up, along with the amazing design team creations :)

My next layout was created using inspiration from Jill's layout while playing Layout Tag at The Scrapping Spot. It was extremely fun!
You're in luck! We're taking sign-ups for Round 2! Get on over and see what it's all about.

Sketchabilities has more sketches to celebrate our birthday, along with our awesome sponsor...

Our Sponsor today is EAD Designs. Here is an introduction to EAD Designs.

EAD Designs is a family owned and operated business based in Brigham City, Utah. The “EAD” stands for “Emily, Alex, and Dean” the Nelson Family! EAD opened in 2002 and in a few short years has grown into one of the largest retailers/wholesalers for Vinyl Lettering and Wall Art. Our website launched in 2004. We started out with vinyl sayings and then offered our customers Wall Art in 2004. Our Design Center was added in 2005 and is one of our greatest website features, allowing you to create and design your custom quotes online.

In May of this year we launched our most innovative paper crafting product yet, VINYL STICKERZ. These stickers are in the most current designs, and are, get ready for this, REPOSITIONABLE!! With their clear background, these Stickerz have the look of a stamp and at a fraction of the cost!! Stickerz are available in a large variety of designs, with more being added all the time. They can be ordered in color or black and white (to be colored in with Copics, or your markers of choice), on a clear background or white.

There are SO many fantastic layouts using the E.A.D. products and Karan's sketches. Please be sure and visit Sketchabilities to be inspired.

I created my layout using some older photos of myself, along with Lily Bee's French Couture, Prima Swirls and October Afternoon Orange Alphas.

I don't know about you, but I'm having a BLAST celebrating Sketchabilities' birthday :) Here is another great sketch to work with. Again, checkout what Guest Designer, Kristie Larsen did with it.

Kaila is about two years old in these photos and this is her very first time eating corn on the cob. I had to document it. She just loves this stuff to this day!

I'm so excited you've popped in!

It's SKETCHABILITIES first ever Blog Hop!

This blog hop is run a bit differently then others. There is an order for you to hop!

[1] Follow the hop by visiting Karan Gerber's blog first, find the word, and go to the next blog listed.

[2] For our followers to be considered for the final Sponsor Giveaway, you need to hop to Design Team Blogs that are participating in the blog hop in order. On those blogs, you will find a word in the colour Orange. Find the highlighted word, make note of it and leave some feedback. All these highlighted words combined form a catch phrase about Sketchabilities.

[3] You need to comment on each Designer Blog to be considered for the individual RAK the Design Team Members are offering............your last step..

[4] You will need to put that “catch” phrase together and bounce back to the Sketchabilities site to leave your final comment and the “catch” phrase. You'll have 5 days to complete the hop dates are Sept 15th until 20th! Winners of each DT Blog RAK and the Final Sponsor Giveaway prize will be posted Sept 22nd! Here you will find links to all the Sketchabiliies designers participating in the bounce. Each of them have a RAK to give away and all you need to do is leave them a comment on their blogs.

Below you will find a photo of the RAK that I'm offering to US residents. There are Thickers, Prima Flowers, Tim Holtz Distress Pads and some Puffy Butterflies.

Once you've left your comment here, be sure to zip over to Jenny Chesnick's Blog to see what she has in store for you.

Earlier this month, I was challenged to not use Patterned Paper on a layout...only cardstock. Let me just tell you how tough that is for me. I realize this layout is extremely simple, but it really makes you focus on the photos. I love the look on Blake's face as he's trying to blow out his birthday candles. I have very few photos of this face, because he eventually figured out how to do it correctly :)

For now, feast your eyes on this awesome sketch by Karan Gerber :) My layout is pictures of my daughter getting a glitter tattoo from a dear friend of mine.

The CELEBRATION is still going on over at Sketchabilities! Make sure you zip over there to join in on the fun and prizes :)

Sarah Buck is today's Guest Designer.

Here's what I created with Karan's awesome sketch. This is my daughter when she was three working on her jack-o-lantern. She especially loves to get the gooey stuff out. She insists on designing it and cutting it out as best as she can. Her love of carving has not waivered these past few years either :)

So much to share :)
Pagemaps September 2010 - I completed this layout for Becky Fleck and her blog.

Although I still have Week #4 to do, I wanted to complete these two challenges, because I didn't have to take and print photos for these ones.

52 Week Challenge - Week #5 - the challenge was to complete a layout in an hour. I did this in 54 minutes. Yes...54...just shy of 60. I know it doesn't look that complicated, but it was start to finish. I'm fairly surprised that I did it in under an hour.

I also doubled this challenge for a challenge at Willow Traders - August THAW #13. This layout is based on the sketch posted there.

I used an old The Scrapping Spot kit for this one.

52 Week Challenge - Week #6 - the challenge was to use something to stamp other than an actual stamp. I used cardboard, the bottom of a stickles bottle and the bottom of a Heidi Swapp paint bottle.
I doubled this challenge for a challenge at The Scrapping Spot - September SYS. I also used an old kit from TSS for this as well :) We had to use paint on a layout.

My last news, which I'm EXTREMELY excited about, is that I was selected to be a Design Team Member for The Paper Variety challenge blog. Our first challenge will be posted on September 15th. There will be prizes, People! So make sure you checkout the blog in the next week or so for more details :)
